BustedBeauty 25 Posted November 26, 2012 Hey everyone! I'm new to this group, I haven't had surgery yet, and quite honestly I don't know when my surgery will be scheduled for. I am getting nervous. I feel like I have been at this for ages, but I know that's me just being impatient. The program I am in is pretty intensive (don't get me wrong, that's a good thing-- I am getting so much info) but it is exhausting. I have had to go to orientation, 2 appts with my coordinator, one with my surgeon, 2 appts with a dietician, 2 support groups, and EGD, board of surgeon approval, had to lose 5% of my weight, and do an online education course...and now I have to do my psych eval and pre-op education before I can even be considered for scheduling. I'm really happy that everyone seems to be really supportive and accepting here, and look forward to networking with everyone! 2 Cheryl Barfoot and ngannnan reacted to this
BrnButrfly2013 12 Posted November 26, 2012 Welcome BustedBeauty- Hang in w/ those requirements. I only have preop labs left and a physical, then suegery on 1/7. There's so many people on here to look to for inspiration, strength, & motivation. I plan to post updates. From what I see on here, it will be worth it. 1 ngannnan reacted to this
