NursCEO 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi, I will be banded this friday, and I am so nervous!!!!!!!!! I am a nurse, and have been in the OR thousands of times, but never as the patient. Maybe nervous isn't the right word, I am scared. Your definately not alone in being nervous. I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully once I check in I will be calmer. Tres Chic 0 Posted February 6, 2007 To those of you just getting ready to be banded I'm going to share my experience and hope you have the same: I had surgery at 12:30 p.m. and was home by 5:00 p.m. Slept like a baby on the meds they gave me at the clinic. The next day I was fine, no gas pain, or shoulder pain, so I took some of the Demerol just for fun! I'm back at work--life is good.
