I want to have NO MORE back pain! And all of the other things that everyone has already said! ;) To some people, these things may seem so small and trivial, but to a big person, they can mean alot!

I want to wear bangles. My hands are to fat to fit through a braclet that doesn't have a hook, even elastic doesn't work.

I can't wait to loose the point of my belly above the Belly button.

I posted earlier too but thought of more as well....

Can't wait to be able to stand and cook without collapsing from the pain in my back and knees.

Both the bathroom stall issue like everyone else and also (pardon my vulgarness) wipe my butt without it being a major struggle....

To also be the lightest one of my sisters instead of the heaviest.

To be able to borrow close from anyone and pretty much know they'll fit.

To go to the Doctors and not have to be embarrassed when they hand you a Johnny you both know won't even come close to fitting but the "little ones" are all they have.

Like everyone else, to not feel like everyone is staring at you when you walk in a room and thinking... Dam she's so fat....

To not need the extension on the seatbelt in my car because apparently the foreign car makers don't understand that we Americans aren't all tiny, skinny people.

To not dread actually stepping on the scale at the doctors office anymore.

To actually know what "Victory's Secret" really is.... LOL

To not be do afraid to stand up for myself and get what I deserve at my job, instead of always feeling ashamed and worthless because of being so fat. (And the first thing I plan to do when I get back to work after my surgery)..... Ask for the raise that they know I deserve.

I'm sure I'll think of more as time goes on and I'll be back to post again.... LOL

LOL @ to know what Victoria's Secret really is. She has been keeping her secret from big girls far too long!

Also don't wait for your surgery to ask for your raise, if you deserve it, go for it.

I can't wait to:

Tuck my shirt into my pants.

Fit in an airplane seat and not dread someone sitting next to me.

Buy cheap cute clothes in all stores.

Surprise my husband in the bedroom.

Wear a belt.

Go snowshoeing.

Be able to go up stairs.

To cross my legs.

To feel comfy in all the chairs in my house.

To sleep in the same bed as my husband in the camper.

Hiking, biking, swimming, walking, canoeing.

Ride a horse.

Feel healthy and get rid of medicine.

To look cute and have men look at me not because of how big I am.

To surprise my family (wish Mom & Dad were still alive).

Get rid of all my old clothes.

To be able to get in the floor to brush my dogs.

To be able to shave every where and see it.

To work out with my son.

To stop having to check out weight limits for things.

To get a job.

To just do things without thinking about them first.

To go to Victoria secrets for the very first time as a buyer.

To wear cute underwear that is comfortable.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
