Stephanie 49 Posted November 20, 2012 So I have been sleeping on my back so my belly would heal. Last night I slept on my side. Today now I have a soreness on my left side by my belly button sorta. Is that normal? Like my muscle pulling or something. I have my first follow up appointment since my surgery tomorrow but I just wanted to see if anyone knew why this is happening. My surgery was November 2nd 2012!

I did the same thing yesterday and I think I pulled everything because I only had one incision on my left side that was bruised but when I woke up yesterday I had dark bruises around all my incisions I learned my lesson
Winter84 35 Posted November 20, 2012 Its normal, I was sleeping on my side a few days after surgery, in the morning I was in a lot of pain, but I noticed the more I walked the better I felt. After they removed my drain, which was a week after surgery I was sleeping on my stomach.... it gets better as days go bye.

Stephanie 49 Posted November 20, 2012 I talked to my doctors today and they said that was normal. When they cut into you there is a muscle deep down that will be a pain to heal!
