seiko 9 Posted November 20, 2012 I plan on making a sugar free sweet potato pie. What did you do for the crust. I was going to try a crushed almond crust, sugar free of course.

kisersassy 369 Posted November 21, 2012 I used just a regular pie crust. since we or I can only eat like 1-2 ounces at any given time it doesn't add much and only has 2 grams of sugar in a regular size piece. well what I used was true splenda with sugar. not totally SF like I thought but is 2 grams per tsp but in a recipe that calls for like 1 cup you use 1/4 cup
mommytyree 98 Posted November 21, 2012 Just made these! I got a recipe off cooks.com. Baked 2 pie crusts. In a pan put 4 cups milk. When warm add 4 small boxes SF vanilla pudding, 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice. When mixed well add 2 15oz cans pumpkin. Stir constantly on med heat until a lil boil. After 1 minute boil pour into cooled crust and chill 24 hrs. It's delish!! When I do it again ill probably add a lil extra pie spice.
