Peanut Butter And Dumping :(

Recommended Posts

Ast night I ate some apple slices with some Peanut Butter and 10 minutes later, I was full blown dumping. What gives?!? I have eaten apples before and was fine so I'm guessing it was the PB. The PB was the natural with 1 gram of sugar and no sugar alcohol. I miss my peanut butter :(

There is a PB that is powdered and you rehydrate with Water. The fat in a food can sometimes cause dumping also and this brand has most fat removed. It tastes very good, is half the calories and you canpurchase online. The company is Bells plantation I think but you can find on Amazon, if you love PB it will save the day. Also, because it is powdered you can add to Protein smoothies if you like.

I've seen it on Amazon. Did some research last time someone mentioned it on here. I wish they had it here in NZ, haven't been able to find it so far. Wanna be able to make Peanut Butter shakes damnit!

Peanut Butter makes me very sick all kinds

I even made it with fresh unsalted peanuts at HEB and I was still sick off one teaspoon

PB2 is better but I still feel ill just not as violent

For me I think that I am sensitive to the nut itself so not planning on trying it again anytime so

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
