TeamMom 10 Posted November 21, 2012 Hi my name is Lisa and my surgery date is Dec 4 and well I'm scared to death !! I feel like I need to have the surgery but I'm worried if I'm even making the right decision ? I am a busy mother of two boys !! Is it right to ask everyone else to sacrifice ? I have always put my family first and I don't know if I have it in me to to do this !!
mrsblues 81 Posted November 21, 2012 You are giving your gift early to your boys and husband this Christmas by getting the surgery done, getting healthy and being able to do so much more for them and with them. How exciting is that! It's a gift that will keep on giving! 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted November 21, 2012 Ladies you are all remarkable examples of what it means to be a wife and a mom and I salute every one of you. RNY is not about vanity and selfishness. They don't even make the top 100 reasons for having this surgery. RNY is about dramatically improving your health. Dramatically improving your life span. Dramatically improving the quality of your life. Dramatically improving the things that you can do and enjoy with your family. Dramatically improving your self esteem. Dramatically improving your outlook on life. Yes, you are going to love the new you! And yes, your family and those who care about you are going to as well!! You are all heroes in every sense of the word!! 2 mrsblues and mom2lucky (suznc) reacted to this
