Falicia004 26 Posted December 2, 2012 I am so sad here. I still feel fat. I am being a big crybaby and starting fights w my hubs. I feel so alone and I am so scared of failing. I have been taking it easy on the food but am still able to eat a bite of this a bite of that. I walked on the treadmill for 22 min tonight. Super slow. Like 1.7mph. I am dying of pain on my left side. Anyone else experience this. I feel like my hubs doesn't get that this was a serious abdominal surgery. Like I'm milking it. He's the one who encouraged me to do it and now is resenting me bc I can't. CAN'T help w the kiddos. I am just a wreck. Anyone else? Any pick me ups? I'm drowning here When was your surgery date??? Mine was 13th and I'm still in pain I feel do worthless at home I broke down last night crying begging god to take the pain away I'm so over it I just want to be back to normal
worm2872 635 Posted December 2, 2012 Falicia. I'm so sorry to hear you are still in pain. Is it from the complications? What does your dr say? Hugs and prayers!

Almost 1 month post op and im still not 100% as a guy. If you need to go to youtube and search gastric bypass. There's a video that shows what is done. Its pretty convincing that this was no small thing. The pain is normal. I had it to and it hurts something awful. getting up and walking the neighborhood a little helps get over it. I wouldn't do treadmill cuz that way i can go my own pace as i want and its wonderful to get out in fresh air. Then again Im in Shreveport so its in the 70's still. KellyAnn805 21 Posted December 2, 2012 I've tried sugar free pudding twice now...and both times it made me nauseous! I had my post-op class on Friday and brought this up. They said even though it says sugar free....look at the sugar alcohol content. I never even heard to look for this. The pudding is 16% sugar alcohol....guess that's too high for my little pouch. I love pudding...bummed.

I got sugar free vanilla pudding & it only has 5 grams of alcohol sugar. The chocolate & other flavored have more. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
