BBdoodle 483 Posted November 9, 2012 I know I do not get enough Protein in my food, and since surgery I am not a big meat eater anymore. I just drink my Protein Shake @ 50 grams of protein per shake. I usually have a yogurt and cottage cheese daily so I get about 80 grams daily.

slowtogo 301 Posted July 22, 2013 slowtogo... ignorant to tofu.. what is silky tofu? and how do you add to cream Soups Sorry kristy, I never saw this- silky tofu is really soft cream like tofu. You can use it like cream. Some people add it to pudding, Soups for a creamy base or some Desserts. It helps boost your Protein and is flavorless.
Sparklette 381 Posted July 22, 2013 My surgeon told me to stop Protein drinks and focus on high Protein foods.she said my body needs to get use to getting protein from food. But im haveing a hard time getting the right amout of protein in. My surgeon said the same thing. I try to get as much as I can in, then if it isn't enough come night time I have half of a Protein Bar. Dairy products and cheese are good sources of protein, Beans, soy products. I'm really tired of meat also.
