longercurlz 49 Posted November 7, 2012 I get full off of two bites and it seems like I'm left out :-( I know it'll be worth it one day Thinking of food as fun is what landed us all in the g Astros bypass seat! Think of food as fuel and as a friend you unfortunately you can't ha out with anymore. The minute you start missing food your bill gain ad really get discouraged! Keep it up!! 1 babygirl901 reacted to this
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted November 7, 2012 I found other things to do. I never-ever read before books. I started reading & I love it! Cross word puzzles are my favorite. Since I can't eat like before there no point unless I'm feeding my kids & hubby to be in the kitchen. I eat like stew which I make delicious has a lot of Vitamins & as mention food is only fuel. I found out so much stuff I like besides eating Lolz... I always love shopping but now I'm matching Lolz. Idk about others but it's fun not to knocks things down to fit in the section not sucking in my tummy. I love this new life change. Thankyou gastric bypass!!! 1 kristy3k reacted to this

kristy3k 1,133 Posted November 7, 2012 The other girls hit the nail on the head. I have found exercise to be of great enjoyment now... used to hate it!!! Just started swimming again after not doing so in about 20 years. We have an indoor pool in our town. Love it! As time passes the dwelling on food will cease. Good luck hun!! Baker_gurl 119 Posted November 7, 2012 I think at one point or another, everyone comes to that realization. I'm so thankful for this surgery! food and hunger used to dominate my life! Now, I've become more mindful of what I'm eating. I've had to search for fulfillment outside of food and discovered my love for swimming and Water aerobics. It is fantastic! 1 worm2872 reacted to this

roxyraquel 77 Posted November 8, 2012 What I ment by fun is everyone (my family) celebrates every occasion with food and it use to be fun to chat with them but now its not fun to socialize. When everyones eating and I take 2 secs to eat I'm not sad that I can't eat I'm just sad because I feel left out.
