I was under the impression 1 bottle was enough, then someone said to take a 2nd bottle 4 hrs later...advice?

You should follow one bottle with at least 8oz of Water, lots of mg+ in that little bottle don't want an electrolyte imbalance. Read the side of the bottle it is a great help. I am a firm believer in Milk of Mag. Way less cramping and easier on your system.
