babygirl901 173 Posted November 1, 2012 Most people say around 3-5 mins between sips. It will get better though. I'm 4mnths out, and I still have problems on some days.

kristy3k 1,133 Posted November 1, 2012 Water is pretty much the only thing I can do like I did pre-op. I can drink a bottle of water in a normal amount of time. I just still dont like the taste...or lack there of.. always add something.. my favorite is green tea peach mango by crystal light. Probably started around 2 months post op I could drink "normally"

kiwiladydee 402 Posted November 1, 2012 I'm 4 months out and Water still feels like bricks stacking up with heavy pressure. Sometimes I cheat and use a straw which makes it better. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
JustJenn 542 Posted November 1, 2012 Hate Water.... I think more now that its a constant in my life. I find that I can take regular drinks, but every once in a while it hurts. I do 4 Water bottles and # them in the morning. BUT yesterday I had the worst water day since surgery:( I only drank half of water bottle #1 I was so busy all day with work for end of month, the all the activities for Halloween with my daughter. BUT I'm feeling it now I feel like crap super thirsty can't drink big drinks and yes I'm sure dehydrated. Looks like Powerade zero for me Surgery 7/25/
