Well after going to the bathroom, I pulled my underwear up and notice they kept going, and going and going until they covered my breast. I thought it was so hilarious, I modeled it for my sisters and told them it was a new product called the underbra!!! It looks like a horrible cotton swimsuit.

HILARIOUS!!! Thanks for sharing Kiwiladydee, great story...this must have made you feel good??!

Im having similar results. Thankfully a few years ago, when I first had my lap band placed, I received a Victorias Secret credit card, it was a reward for a goal. Anyway, with the CC you get a free panty each month. LOL I have over 24 pair of really cute and sexy panties...they are so close to fitting. I can't wait to wear them =]

Start weight prior to lap band in 3/09 was 298.

After one year 6 months 186.

Lap Band emptied due to obstruction 4/12

Weight prior to band removal and conversion to RNY 8/27/12 was 228

Current weight 203 (almost in onederland)

My weight loss has been slow but pretty much consistent with 3lbs a week. I am just now at 8 weeks post op starting to excersize.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
