Horrible Dumping Syndrome

I have to confess that im almost 3 weeks post op and couldn't hold to eat a sugar cookie this morning,it was so good ,that now is evening and i experience dumping syndrome,i feel to run to the toilet cause i have urge to do number 2 ,so i sat down in the toilet and had all these feelings at once(short breath,fast heart beatings,sweat in cold,slow talk,nervously,tursty and finally dearia)i was nervouse ,that happened by brake the rule,now i learn my lesson i wont taste anything that will hurt me

Slowtogo ,yes i feel much better,but wow that feeling i tough i was to pass out,im so stupit but wont happen no more

Girl that happend to me on Saturday for the first time since surgery mind you I'm 5 months post of I ate half a small cup of honey nut Cereal I should've known better :)

I dump so easily been on natural sugar. I really have to watch everything I eat. It freaked me out the first time it happened.

I know i should did that cause the consequences,but i thought it was something easy ,but hell know i though i was about to die,shut if i knew it was that bad i woulnd touch a thing on that yumi cookie,not i say"shut what i get my self in to" is something that we have to take that very serious,i learn my lesson by trying to be sneaky and cough me a lis in my own house cause if i was in public i would sh it in my pants lol

Girl's after that happen i weight my self and i lost 5 pounds i was 215 now 211,but hey i got a question now,some1 can die if they get dumping syndrome?cause all that loose of breath,heart parpitacion,ect...

Cuando me operaron ese dia pesava 225 ahora estoy en 211,como talvez los bajo parejo pero ya veo muchisimo la diferencia,de size 18 ahora size13/14

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
