JustJenn 542 Posted October 26, 2012 Had my 3 month post op appt on my RNY anniversary. I love my surgeons staff they are all so sweet and had so many awesome compliments. I am doing great so far, I can start to drink regular Vitamins, I can eat nuts (which I already was :-/) after losing another 30 pounds he wants me to "move more" and I can eat beef and pork in another month. Im doing good:) 3 months flies by! So make every day count people. Surgery 7/25/12 4 ladyspl, Uniqueladybug, Lissette2022 and 1 other reacted to this

TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted October 26, 2012 Try everything in a tiny amount. Pork doesn't agree with me and I'm 4 months. Real eggs doesnt agree with me neither. Strange ugh!! Congratulations sounds like your surgeon is like mine friendly staff you feel at home.
JustJenn 542 Posted October 26, 2012 Thank you thank you! Real eggs don't agree with me either. I can eat 2-3 oz of my food *whatever I'm eating but only half an egg. I didn't keep my last egg down, and if I it sits really heavy! If I eat eggs I'll do egg beaters. Surgery 7/25/
BBdoodle 483 Posted October 26, 2012 WOW Jenn you are doing awesome I am 6 months post op and was cleared 2 months ago to eat regular food ... but.... I am not good with chicken, tuna, beef and my taste has really changed big time !!! I can live on cheese, nuts, grapes, Soups, fish. I am just not a big meat eater after surgery, it does nothing for me. Prior to surgery I would love a good steak every now and then but now .. yuck !! Stick with the foods that are healthy and that agree with you. When trying a new food, take it slow and chew, chew, chew, chew. Keep up the good work sweetie 2 JustJenn and courtneyperkins reacted to this
