Extremely Happy I Could Cry

Recommended Posts

Didn't lose the 14 pounds to be at 125lbs but I'm 139 and a few weeks ago I bought a size 7 pants that's the smallest size I want to be & my size 8 were a little lose so I took out the size 7 just to try it on omg!!! I almost cry...

I can't believe it I made it to the size I want. Also I'm not a bottom large I'm a small. Top still medium. I'm not pushing for those 14lbs anymore. I reach my goal in size.

Thankyou all for being there for me. Wow! Took 4 months to be here but this has been the best & happy to share it with all. If in the future the scale moves again or I drop another pant size which I don't want to get smaller then 7.

Mommy it's a hard fight you have to want to get where you want to be. I'm 12 weeks out down 63 lbs and have 60 lbs more to go and it's getting harder and harder the more I lose but I will see it though.

I like the way I'm looking and can't wait to see what I will look like at 165 lbs

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
