MrsCaluza 14 Posted October 19, 2012 I keep seeing people say that you don't feel hungry after surgery. I'm about 3 weeks post op, and have felt hunger since I got home from the hospital. I know everyone's going to say its head hunger, but it really doesn't feel like it. So mu question it how do you know the difference?
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted October 19, 2012 That's a great question and one that I've never read a really good answer to. But you might find some ideas for dealing with hunger in general in my post "Managing Hunger" - http://www.rnytalk.com/topic/1493-managing-hunger/page__fromsearch__1 . But sharing my experience was that I felt the same and thought there was no way it could be head hunger! After about the month mark it went away and haven't felt hungry since! Hang in there! 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
