When To Buy New Underwear / Panties

Recommended Posts

My husband has been laughing at me because I have lost 70 pounds and have not bought any.

He said it looks like I gotta load going on down there. He is very supportive but silly at the same time.

I would buy new ones lol. i bought new ones right before surgery bought a snug fit so they could last a while. Nothing fancy a $8 pack from Walmart. Can't wait till i can go down a few sizes to something sexy!

I haven't bought any under cloths...but I should when I pull up my pants up I also have to pull my underwear up too! Lol and my bras move all over the place, I've been wearing my sport bras over them so they don't move. I wanted to wait a little longer a before buying under cloths but I don't think I can much longer. :(

Surgery 7/25/12

Weird! I've lost a 100lbs and all my underwear still fits.. Granted that most of the 100lbs have come off from the whole body and my belly is still big.. I want sexy underwear too and not just parachutes!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
