Ellie_Grace 271 Posted October 18, 2012 I keep it below 50, (almost all my carbs come from fruit and veg, I rarely eat any bread or potato) but keep in mind it depends on the amount of calories and exercise you are doing. I think the best way would be to figure out the percentage of your total intake that should be carbs, sugars and Protein. I am not sure what that should be, but it makes more sense then a random number that does not take into consideration the amount of calories etc that you are intaking. Lebim 381 Posted October 18, 2012 I am having trouble because it seems that's all I want. Mostly bread. Jut wondering what have you all tried to get over it. Assuming you're newly post op - it gets better once you get it out if your system, 2-3 weeks. I still miss it but it's not maddening - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/

DLCoggin 1,788 Posted October 19, 2012 Starch carbs sit in my pouch like a rock. Lol! Me too and I'll be a year post-op tomorrow. I used to love bread and now I have trouble eating half a slice. Just one more great benefit of this surgery!! 1 cookier224 reacted to this
