Gained 3 lbs from Sunday to monday. Took me so much to get o 161, and now i'm at 164. How is that possible? I realize I ate different than my day-to-day... But that was one time and i did not go crazy and eat crazy things i shouldnt... I was sick and needed real food....

Your weight can change from day to day. Mine has changed from 5 lbs from morning to evening!! I forget how many calories equal a pound of weight but it could be Water retention, or you did not have a bowel movement or both... I would not worry about it, just do a bit more exercise and really watch for a day or two or go back on to a liquid diet for a week.

I am back on the up and down stall. It has happened a few times for me already. I go up and down the same 3 to 4 pounds without going lower than my previous lower weight. yes it is frustrating and I am doing nothing different and even increasing exervise etc when this happens, but it still stays in a stall. once it was 3 weeks (was in my second month post op) another time a week. this time it has been almost 2 weeks. It seems to happen about once a month, not related to menstual cycle either. Just be patient and stay on track and eventually it will start coming off again. You are too early in the process for you not to continue to lose weight. Do not stress over it or get too depressed. It is not the fun part of the process but it will be over soon.

I really hate the stall! At first I hit the breaking point at 220 and now I've struggle between 218 and 217 for 3 weeks. I increased my exercise as much as I could. - which was non to 1/2 mile and tried to eat 1 extra meal of Protein. It worked!!! But for 2 pounds. Now I'm at 215. What happen to the 3 and 4 pounds a week drop??

Lovely that could be some good old muscle weight. Or one good pooh and it will be gone. Don't be a slave to the scale. Do you feel better? Are your clothes looser? Do you have more energy? the weight will come off. Don't get on that scale for a few days if you can help it and by the end of the week you may be pleasantly surprised.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
