I think you need to speak with ur surgeon something may be going on, it's better to be safe than sorry, cuz I don't think ur legs should hurt.

Your problem has come up at support group meeting . What I'm told is your pouch will hold about 2-3 oz of food ver time your pouch will grow to hold about a cup of food. The slower you eat and the longer you take to eat the more you should be able to get in. So as time goes by 2-3 oz at times will grow to be 3-4 or 4-5 oz. but not all the time I feel, this way at times and have to stop my self from eating to much Becuse it takes 20 min for your pouch to send the signal to your brain that you are full. And if you over eat it will stretch your new pouch and hurt like hell.

So to make a logs answer short there is nothing wrong with your eating. As far as your legs go are you walking to much after surgery and it still happens today my knees hurt when I walk to much. But it is still a good idea to talk to your doctor about your legs

I am finally able to drink more at a time, which makes me happy...I feel as if i can quinch my thirst now.

However my legs are also killing me too! I am 2months out as of yesterday, and it seems as if my legs are hurting more the further out I get! i am used to walking 4-5 days a week at least 2 miles, but yesterday I went to a theme park and my legs hurt so bad when I got home and all day today! Not sure what to do for it!!

Have you doctor check you Calcium levels.

I get what amounts to be like restless leg when I started taking Calcium that help it go away.

Again that's just me you need to talk to your doctor

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
