ladyspl 161 Posted October 12, 2012 One of my goals is to tell Lane Bryant to close my account. I am still paying off the clothes I bought before I made the decision to have surgery, before April, and I only have $250 left. Well apparently they are sweating me not spending in over 6 months that I am being bombed with emails, text messages, mail and now a fancy new credit card. LOL cannot wait to make the call to close the account because I can no longer fit their clothes :-) Sorry, I just needed to tell someone. 6 DLCoggin, Ellie_Grace, Butterfly66 and 3 others reacted to this
JustJenn 542 Posted October 12, 2012 Lol I know how you feel to tell them so long will be amazing! Surgery 7/25/12 1 ladyspl reacted to this
ladyspl 161 Posted October 12, 2012 I must admit, its scary too. With my size, I've never had a "style" its always been more about coverage then cuteness LOL so the limited selection at LB was enough, but after surgery I will be able to shop everywhere and its scary because I don't know what style I like! It will be overwhelming, but I cannot wait! LOL 2 Wanda Bragg and makemyownluck reacted to this
Vicki Loichinger 444 Posted October 12, 2012 now that is great. See it is the little things that bring us such great pleasure. Just one more NSV that you will get to do. Funny how they nearly beg for your business. 2 ladyspl and JustJenn reacted to this
ladyspl 161 Posted October 12, 2012 They have too begged! LOL guess I should be ashamed that I spent so much money with them that now when I am not, they are worried. LOL
worm2872 635 Posted October 12, 2012 We have so limited choices. I need a pair of jeans and I can't find any that fit right under 35-40 bucks. This sucks. I can't wait to tell them bye. :-) 1 ladyspl reacted to this
ladyspl 161 Posted October 12, 2012 It is robbery how much they charge for a pair of jeans for "plus" size folks.

ladyspl 161 Posted October 12, 2012 I am famous for my yard sale finds, I will be stoked when the outfits I find I can actually fit! LOL
LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted October 13, 2012 LB is so dang pricey. Hate it when I need an outfit and it's the only place I can find something. Dang pair of pants and shirt cost well over $100 and that's even with their coupons. The pants are always flair or boot cut or wide leg too. Unreal! 1 ladyspl reacted to this
jenneliza 257 Posted October 13, 2012 I can't wait to get out of lb and into cheaper stores! It's not my business but a word of advice is to keep your account open with a $0 balance. It will be better for your credit score for many reasons. I can elaborate if you want. 1 ladyspl reacted to this

LOL Perhaps at least cutting the card up into itsy bitsy pieces would be better LOL
kiwiladydee 402 Posted October 13, 2012 That is part of my motivation! I want to never have to go to lane Bryant again. My new goal is to fit into something from this shop by my birthday in Feb. I went to Macy's and did not have to go to the plus size section. I could wear XL or size 16. Miami- I went to thrift store and had a hard time finding any 16s. I saw a lot of sizes 10 and under. Thinking about trying Ross or Marshals? http://www.bostonproper.com/section/NEW-ARRIVALS/51.uts Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk 1 ladyspl reacted to this
ladyspl 161 Posted October 13, 2012 We just got a Ross at our mall, I have yet to step foot in it. Much like all the other stores I have never explored because I know they will have nothing to fit me. Love Macy's purses! Cannot wait to shop their clothes! Much like other folks have said on this forum, I don't know what I'll do, not having to go into the plus sections any longer! What a wonderful problem we will have!
