NurseTAB 65 Posted October 12, 2012 Ugh so I got down to 236 a week ago and went back up to 238 and have been there all week. Been working out getting my Protein an Water in not eating anything I'm not suppose to I knew this time would come where I would stall but ugh it's a poopy feeling to know yer doing everything right and not losing weight. Have lost 32 pounds in 4 weeks which I know is awesome but ugh come on scale. Been trying to do more with myself makeup an doing my hair which I didn't do before to feel better, it's amazing how much the scale has over you. Been debating throwing my scale out and just forget weighing myself. 2 Vicki Loichinger and Cheryl Barfoot reacted to this

Uniqueladybug 80 Posted October 12, 2012 I know your pain! I've weighed the same all week. Right now to me the surgery wasn't worth it but I know it will be in the future! Jess...Surgiversary 9/19/
NurseTAB 65 Posted October 12, 2012 Yeah it's frustrating and I'm nauseous and tired and I called in to work today kinda regretting surgery the last couple days but I know it will get better trying to be positive. I think I hate my job too right now.
BBdoodle 483 Posted October 12, 2012 Can I join the club too !!!! My weight has been the same for the past month and a half . I too follow diet, exercise like crazy, get my Protein and Water in. The scale has just not moved and I am getting really freaked out. However, pants that were tight are now loose so something other than the scale moving downward is happening. I am OK with it because weight is just a number that is easily to get obsessed with. I am still positive that it has to move again at some point... geezzzz I work out a a hour and a half most days, jog 2 miles, speed walk, eliptical, run with my dogs etc. etc. eat all the right foods etc. I even increased the intesity of my workouts and wear a heart monitor to make sure I am in the fat burning zone... please scale move just a bit.. please !!!! 1 Uniqueladybug reacted to this
NurseTAB 65 Posted October 12, 2012 How frustrating its only been a week for me and I'm going mad, a month ugh. At least yer clothes are getting lose, your probable gaining muscle ya know it weighs more then fat with how your working out. I find it hard to even work out 3 times a week. naturalgal518 3 Posted October 13, 2012 The scale hasnt moved for me this week either. It is hard to accept because I am only five weeks out! I have started going to the gym so I am trying to focus on making working out a habit so that I am not worrying so much about the scale.

It doesn't mean this isn't the answer.... The stall will break. I was in a stall for almost 3 weeks in the beginning but then it broke and I started losing a pound a day. Sometimes it helps to change up your diet and exercise for a few days. Eat a few more calories and exercise with more intensity. One of my stalls broke when I did a physical fitness assessment for work (had to push myself really hard). The next day I lost 4 pounds. Your body is still healing and might be in starvation mode. Just be patient and try to stay away from the scales for awhile. Good luck! surgeversary 7/24/12, highest weight 267, surgery weight 262, current weight
 HELWA1980 17 Posted October 19, 2012 There will be many stalls' date=' try not to get too frustrated.
