MommyHand 45 Posted October 11, 2012 Had my surgery on 9/5/12, it has been a long hard month. Filled with many trips to the ER, lots of Dr. appointments, pain and highs & lows. But as of 10/5/12 I am down 50lbs. Still have a long way to go and hoping it starts getting smoother. 1 cookier224 reacted to this

So if its not to personal, can you tell us what sort of problems did you have that caused you to go in and out of the hospital? Ellie_Grace 271 Posted October 16, 2012 Congrats! What a great beginning... it does get better. I think the first couple of months are the hardest in terms of adjusting and complications. After that you get to enjoy the ride, including all the up and downs and stalls.

MommyHand 45 Posted December 6, 2012 So I ended up in the hospital for several weeks. Couldn't keep anything down for weeks & weeks. I was eventually put on TPN/IV nutrition. Now I am not loosing weight. I have no feeling in my legs. Was told it was from severe malnutrition.
