I had numbess in my legs -primarily when sitting an especially when sitting on the toilet for weeks after my surgery. It went away in its own. I just figures it was sciatica from laying on the table and hospital bed. Hopefully same to you. I would give it a few days unless it is painful, swollen, tender, or you are afraid you will fall due to the numbness. Are you on blood thinners? Good luck.

I would personally call your surgeon. It is always better to be safe then sorry. Could be nothing could be something huge. When in doubt call the dr. Hope it goes away soon.

I had numb thighs as well, my surgeon said that it was from the cautery machine that they ground you to during surgery, the electrical current goes thru your thighs or where ever they attach it which causes temporary numbness. The numbness and strange feeling goes away after a while.

It took about 3 months for my numbness to totally go away but totally normal for some people. I had the same when I had hernia surgery. I think it effects some people more than others.
