christine r 0 Posted February 3, 2007 Hi everyone I has my surgery on 1/22. I'm still on liquids and my Dr said that I have to wait till the next vist to start eating solid. My appointment is 3/12. That is for my first fill. Right now I'm always hungry after an hour. I try to drink alot of Water but my stomach keeps growling what should I do. Please help.:cry
Wheetsin 714 Posted February 3, 2007 If you're hungry, eat. Your body needs to heal and you need nourishment to do that. Normally hunger doesn't recede until restriction has started, and that's probably not happening until your fill. So until then, moderate what you eat, but don't keep yourself from eating because you believe you shouldn't be doing it. Especially not while you're healing. If have a question. Anyone that had the Lap Band surgery in Boston can you let me know what your doctor's name is? My Operation Manager's, close friend is starting the process and her Primary care doctor is at Mount Auburn. I told her about this Web Site and how great it is. Please let me know.
