TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted October 10, 2012 Today I have lost a total of forty pounds and it has only been two weeks and two days post op... I would be worried that is a little fast but I am celebrating this victory... Before I considered surgery the most I lost was fifteen pounds only to gain it back quicker than I lost it... Now to date I am almost half of what my goal weight loss is only sixty more to go... I'm very jealous but extremely happy for you. These last 14 lbs have been the hardest to lose. rdunkel 6 Posted October 11, 2012 How are you feeling? Our surgery was on the same day! I'm feeling great! How about you? I'm feeling pretty good! I have pain in my stomach region. No other issues though. I'm getting discharged soon. I had some yogurt and skim milk this morning. How are you handling full liquids? 1 cookier224 reacted to this

How are you handling full liquids? Barely. I just don't have any desire to ingest anything. I'm forcing myself every few hours to have a few ounces of a shake and a bottle of Water. food in general just sounds grose! I was pretty sore and campy

I was pretty sore and crampy thismorning, but once they pulled the drainage tube I had instant relief. I am having an issue with my left eye being completely dialated while my right eye is normal. Doctors are thinking its related to the patch I was wearing behind my left ear for Nausia. Some kind of reaction. We're just watching it real close. Glad you are doing ok! I was fortunate to not have a drainage tube. They are miserable, so I feel for you. I had major surgery on my left shoulder in 1998 and I had 3 drain tubes for about a month. They are terrible. I'm still having some abdominal pain and I'm sure that will continue for a little while longer. I feel like the easy (surgery) part is over. I feel that the hard part is learning how to eat right, staying active and getting all the Protein in. I know the Protein is the key!!
