DLCoggin 1,788 Posted October 9, 2012 You're certainly welcome Milan. Stay committed to getting active and you'll find a way! I walk in a park near my home and I see folks walking with little people all the time - usually the little guys are in something with wheels. Lol. Have a great day! I have a 5 and 3 year old and my fave exercise is to put some music on and we all dance around they love it and it doesn't really feel like exercising but I do break a sweat Goodluck! LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted October 10, 2012 I think one of the worse things we can do is compare our weightloss with everyone elses. I agree with DL.....how do you feel, 5 pounds a week is unreal compared to diets we've all been on before this surgery. You're doing awesome! I human too and it's so natural to want to compare or check out the losses. When I find myself doing that....I change it up and remind myself this isn't a race, this is my life....and I'm going to do the best I can. I can't see the finish line yet but, I sure know I'm going in the right direction Keep up the great work! 3 naturalgal518, Amazeyem and Sadlerjt reacted to this
Sadlerjt 9 Posted October 11, 2012 24 pounds in five weeks is almost five pounds a week. When was the last time you lost five pounds a week? Do you really want to lose 10' date=' 15, or 20 lbs a week? Not healthy, not realistic, and not sustainable. Maintain five pounds a week for six months and you'll be almost 150 lbs lighter! This is a journey, not a marathon. And it starts with realistic expectations. You're doing absolutely great! Celebrate your success! Stay focused on following the protocol, stay active, and stay away from the scales for a week and even two if you can stand it. You're gonna love the new you!![/quote'] Well said..I luv this!!! Great Advice!
