BBdoodle 483 Posted October 1, 2012 You could probably mix the Protein in what ever you want, it will change the textrue of food etc. I like to get it all over and done with ASAP. I get my min. 64 grams in in one shake, I mix dutch cholocate with Water and drink that for a snack at 10 - 10:30 every single day. Vicki Loichinger 444 Posted October 1, 2012 I am pre op and I have been eating a lot of yogurt and adding one scoop of unflavored Protein powder to it. I have had a bad tooth for the past several weeks and got it pulled last week. So I feel like I have had kinda a trial run eating the yogurt and getting the protein in. One of my favorites has been the Dannon greek 2xprotein vanilla yogurt with a scoop of unflavored protein and about a tablespoon of sugar free pudding mix, pistachio yum, but I bet that won't be good to soon after surgery, but banana pudding has been good. It is like eating some fancy desert to me. NOW all this may change after surgery. That if you put a double scoop in that its just a waste of that extra scoop.....I'm no expert....but when I read your post it made me think about all i had Been reading about it. Yeah your right, I went to GNC today and was told the same thing your can only absorb so much at a time.
