Stardusted 13 Posted October 1, 2012 My surgery was 9/24. (So exactly 1 week ago today). I have lost 14 lbs since my liquid diet that began a week prior to my surgery. I am so thrilled! I never have lost this much from dieting alone! As for the way I feel... I am still in pain on my left side. Sick of that! And I am sick of just clear liquids! I feel like all I eat/drink is crystal light/water/Popsicles! No way to live! Lol. Today I think I can start of full liquids! Yay! So I get my cream based Soups back and sf fudge pops back. I can also start Protein shakes this week! So all in all I'm doing pretty well. It is a very emotional journey though! surgerversary: sept 24th 2012. Starting weight: 240 Today's weight: 226!!! 1 berniec reacted to this

I will need to buy those for some variety If you can tolerate them, try the All fruit no suger added pops.. They are only like 40 calories and they are SO good. I think bryers makes them. But the regular popcicle brand are very tastey too! I use to be able to taste the artificial sweetner and honestly I just do not taste the difference anymore. Also I dont know if you guys have a winco but here at our winco they have a large assortment of sugar free candy in their bulk isle. I have been eating suger free yogurt covered raisins. rurias 23 Posted October 1, 2012 I bought some of those fudge pops they are fantastic. I love the fruit ones they are great but I have been eating them for a week straight. I just had a few licks of the fudge pop because I looked at the sugar content and realized it has 7 grams of sugar I didn't know if that was too much sugar? And if will cause dumping
kisersassy 369 Posted October 1, 2012 My son brought home some koolaide mix SF strawberry crush. OMG is it good and it does not have an aftertaste at all. In fact I have to add more Water then required because its too strong. Its one of those packets to go that you addyo bottle of water
NurseTAB 65 Posted October 1, 2012 I hate eating artificial sweetened stuff I rather have all natural or organic but when your trying to eat right and keep calories down its just not possible which sucks cuz artificial sweeteners when used to much can be a carcinogen. Which when your trying to do healthy eating defeats the point. 1 goddessblaze reacted to this

Still have a burning pain to the left of my belly button, it comes and goes. Gas has been the worst! It wont move! Any suggestions? Uniqueladybug 80 Posted October 3, 2012 I'm usually a really tough girl... Piercings... A tattoo! I was so worried about the drain. Looking at it made me nauseous. I was afraid I would start heaving or pass out..lol Wasn't bad at all! There was more inside than what I thought. I kinda heard a slurp sound and only felt it for a couple of seconds. Just a weird feeling, not bad! I had some discomfort later on where the tube is on the inside(not where it goes in....further in.) It does make you feel a bit normal afterwards.
