Molly1978 6 Posted September 29, 2012 Anyone feel like they have less sex after surgery? I'm 34 and my boyfriend is 53. He smokes weed everyday too. I felt this way before surgery too but, it seems worse lately. I guess the combo of old age and weed would make a man less likely to want to have sex. But, even if he gets turned on(and I can totally tell he is), he doesn't want to continue or do anything about it. I think I'm becoming more attractive. Maybe he thinks the opposite. Who knows. I've never been with somebody who doesn't want sex on a regular basis. Also, I don't smoke weed-last time I did was maybe 4 months ago, and then a year before that-in case someone was wondering. luvlife 43 Posted September 29, 2012 Have you talked to him about it? I know it may be uncomfortable, but sounds like something is going on with him. Or maybe he doesn't even think there is anything wrong or realize how u r feeling. How long have you been together?
JustJenn 542 Posted September 29, 2012 Yes, talk to him! It could be he doesn't want to hurt you??? But as the weight comes off you will want it MORE.... So be open now before that drive kicks in! Surgery 7/25/
Molly1978 6 Posted September 29, 2012 Thanks for the advice, we're good now. . I've never been with someone like him, so different. He's very sensitive and gets his feelings hurt easily so, it's hard for me to talk to him about stuff like this. In my past relationships I felt more at ease with bringing up difficult topics. Maybe I'm learning to be more gentle about these difficult topics through this relationship. 1 Cheryl Barfoot reacted to this

kisersassy 369 Posted September 29, 2012 Uhm it could be nothing to do with you but him. My husband is 50 and was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate a few months ago and so to have sex he needs the little blue pill now. Your bf may be embarrassed so he chooses not to all the time because of this. Signs of it were he was going pee all the time waking up middle of the night to go then one day we tried and no getting it up 1 Molly1978 reacted to this
