kisersassy 369 Posted September 29, 2012 I haven't had surgery yet but what I have read in here everyone is different in here. I've read where some has lost 100 pounds in a few months and some only 40 in same time frame. I have read the heavier you are the more you lose at first and everyone seems to have stalls where they don't lose any for a few weeks 1 babygirl901 reacted to this
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted September 29, 2012 If your a bigger person according to my surgeon you drop weight fast. If your smaller you drop but not as fast. A person 300 might drop 100 in a month & a person 200 might drop 40/50 in a month or even less. I'm almost 4 months & I drop almost 65 I think but I was 211 after diet 197 so it didn't come off fast as if I was much heavier. But I'm very sexy now lmbo

PaulB 346 Posted September 30, 2012 Every one is different don't push it it will come off. Just one pices of advice only weigh your self 1 time a week pick a day. If not you will drive your self nuts everyday when you don't see a loss. Don't starve your self puting your body into starvation mode will not help. In the beginning you will find it hard to get you Protein in. Just do your best And the weight will come off Good luck Surgery Anniversary 7/30/
LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted September 30, 2012 poke around the website and you'll get lots of information. Everyone's journey before and after surgery is different. We even have different nutritional rules to follow but, basically all the same in the end after healing. Good luck with your process. Oh and insurance has alot to do with the length of time from the start of looking into RNY and the actual surgery date.
