I'm Nov. 28th and completly terrified now!! :/ I met with my surgeon today and he's all for the sleeve. He scared the crap out of me with all the risks and things that can go wrong with the bypass.

They couldn't hard set the appt on the 20th because of the delay in getting the authorization. In the meantime, the spot was booked by another surgeon. And of course, the auth came in the next morning. My luck. I almost told them to forget it but no. This is something (about the only thing) I have to do for myself.

Out of the hospital still a bit sore... my hubby made me some broth for dinner...thank heavens cuz the chicken broth i was getting in the hospital tasted like salt Water lol baby steps... post op day 3 in the bag:)

Connie3, I think that you will be okay. I am having bypass done because I plan to exercise a lot. My surgeon believes I may have problems with the sleeve twisting up. I will be praying for you...
