stellar313 26 Posted November 4, 2012 I sat on the toilet again for like 25 mins. Still nothing! Why can't I go to the bathroom!!! Its not unusual to have trouble going after having a catheter - and anesthesia and pain meds can also make it hard to go. It may just take more time, don't get too stressed or it will make it worse. Did you try running the Water in the sink while you were trying? Sometimes that helps. Good luck!

Vicki Loichinger 444 Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks V! I'll be praying for you as well. I'll have this thing called a "q-pump" I have to carry around for first five days. It gives a steady supply of pain meds then when its done I pull this tube out of my chest! Its the size of a piece of rice but still kinda freaky. Im so looking forward to it. I power walked like 6 miles this am. My legs are putty but i am pushing for extra weight lose going into Tuesday. Actually looking forward to getting some time off at work! My doc uses that on-q pump thingy too.
