Hello to all of my November Surgery Family. In less than 24 hours our month and our long awaited surgeries will finally be here..I am so excited' date=' nervous and still in shock that our time is here....I want to tell everyone good luck on their day. Lets all do what we are suppose to and follow the dr's orders so we can all have a speedy recovery...And one last request if and when you feel up to it after your surgery if you could post, just so we know you are ok....Again Im so happy for everyone!!!!![/quote']

Dose anyone know if lap-bypass is the same as gastric bypass its listed like this on a paper I received in the mail today I got a call my preop was moved from tomorrow to next Friday and the paper states my pre op is the 12 when surgery is the 13th really? But it was mailed yesterday and she apologized for the mix up but now I'm super confused she said either tomorrow or sat ill get my pre-op packet so I guess I'll wait for that and call them if I'm still confused sorry I just had to vent a Lil because this is madness lol

My preop is one dat before my surgery too. My surgery date is 11/15. I'm hoping to get as much info, advice, tips and support on here because I'm keeping mine a secret!!! Only my parents and hubby know. I didn't even tell my brothers. Lol. Well keep in touch. Wish u luck!!!! And a fast recovery...

Startinova, Yes! I have my big preop appointment Tuesday. I realized today I need to cut out all the herbs, aleve, etc from my diet today. It's that close!! YAY

Karmagirl, I am the same as you only my hubby, mom and BF know. This board is a big support for me. I am so happy with all the help I have received so far.

Honestly the first few days really suck it gets better honeydue29 keep the faith and if I can do it so can you. Dust off your big girl panties pull them up and let's Rock the crap out if this pre op diet. Hang in there sh$t happens this will pass. That's why we are here we all have slip ups so what we get mad at our selves we are learning and are on a new journey to be healthy. Old habits are hard to shake . Be proud of yourself that your starting a new path . Don't be hard on yourself. It happens.
