Girl do it can you imagine how cool it would be to look back at this journey 2 years from now? And your helping others to the best of you ability I just think it grate some girls go from 400lbs and end up in a size 5 I'm all wow if that's possible I have to document this lol but only my sister know its there and they are sworn to secrecy until I drop my first 100Lbs because I know there will be some serious haters and (I'm Mexican) sooo much drama I'd even bet that one of my aunts will swear up and down I'm on drug lmao but that s what haters are for and so by documenting everything so they can see it it's like she sinks her own ship lol so Um yeah...... Had to do it keep these haters in check

I just realized ill have to tell my mom before the surgery. Oh the drama. My poor hubby. She'll be up his butt in the hospital. :-0 lol

I know there going to be many haters... I like the idea of documenting everything, I am going to consider this . Too many people think wls is the easy way out and that we are lazy! I know this is not true! I did the gym thing weight watchers , nutrsystem, diet pills .... Nothing worked long term.... I ended up gaining all my weight back plus some.... It is a big struggle, and I'm tired of being fat !! It's hard on my body.... Our bodies lol.

I will ask my husband to show me how to do the videos when he gets home f rom work,,, these Protein shakes are making me sick.... I'm tired of this diet.... Girl need a piece of toast haha

Wow!! All the kids!! :-). It's so cool!

Anyway I'm scared too. It's hard not to be but I keep thinking I can't get this weight off My dad died last year at 61 from a heart attack. I know his lifestyle and weight were a major cause. You don't want that to be us. Even though I'm 40 I miss him terribly. You want to be there as long as possible for your kids and wonderful grand babies!!!

My dad was 46 when he died of heart attack another reason i want this surgery i am only 3 years younger then he was when he died

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
