Could someone please come up with a high Protein low carb/sugar pizza, doritos and reeces cup?? I am having some bad cravings today....not giving into then but dang what I would give for 15 mins of no rearranged guts. Ok thanks for listening to my rant....I'm back to the real world now.

Have you tried making pizza on a whole wheat tortilla? I use missions brand whole wheat with a little pizza sauce, part skin mozzarella cheese, and I put turkey pepperoni on top along with mushrooms! It's pretty yummy, gets you protine, and is much lower calorie wise then store or restaurant pizza! I just toast mine in the toaster oven for 12 minutes or so! And one little slice is enough to fill you up! As far as chips I use special k cracker chips. Or Walmart sells snapea crisps which are delicious, crispy, and a veggie! Les then a gram of sugar and no trans fats.. They are a great alternative!

Oh and for a "treat" people from this app turned my to Quest protine bars! They have some amazing flavors!

I will look into these.....I think if I didn't see people walking around stuffing their faces with junk food at work all day i would be fine.

Me too! It's the worst at home! I just try to find an alternative to what they are eating. And my cravings were super bad the first few weeks now they have gone away for the most part! Like when my family is stuffing their face with spaghetti (literally stuffing their faces) I just use my spaghetti squash instead of noodles!

Ugh yes it is hang in there ;) it's the worst when it's around my monthly cycle!! I crave sweet and salty and coke with crushed ice :/ a good alternative I like are Quakers caramel rice cakes!!

I haven't but I'm at target and just found these! 13 grams of protine in a serving. And they are so crunchy!

I absolutely love edamame!!! Most Japanese restaurants sale it as an appetizer! There's a good recipe on Pinterest for it too!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
