lilbee 10 Posted September 24, 2012 I'm so excited I'm 2 days away from my surgery date! Having surgery in northern ny! I'm on day seven of my liquid diet and at times I've been weak, but reading the posts here has really kept me motivated. I'm looking forward to stepping into a new life. It has been trying some days, sometimes the hubby does not seem to be so supportive, but I feel a positive change coming so it helps to just stay focused on that. He is a man who enjoys a fluffy woman, but I have explained that my health and my future depends on me losing weight. I am very excited to see a future where I can do more things with my kids like biking, horseback riding, amusement parks. Thank you to all the really positive words from this site, just reading the posts has kept me out of that dark space in my head that's telling me I will fail! luvlife 43 Posted September 24, 2012 Welcome to the group! You will not fail. Just remember to follow drs orders and that it is okay to indulge responsibly every once and awhile but wait till your on solid foods. It is a lot easier when u r never hungry. Water and Protein are the most important. For the first week or so it is more important to make sure u focus on Water intake and walking. Good luck on your surgery! Let us know how it goes. surgeversary 7/24/12
highest weight 267
surgery weight 262
current weight

I refuse to let their negativeness keep me from having the surgery, so please don't let that devil in your head discourage you...you will do great! My surgery is Oct. 8..started liquid diet yesterday for two weeks...ugh!
