gavinsmom47 1 Posted September 20, 2012 I had surgery on the 22 of august and I have lost 24 pounds so not that much more than you. It'll even out in the end just look at it this way, 17 pounds in a month is amazing! That's about 4 pounds a week. You are doing fine! 1 berniec reacted to this
BBdoodle 483 Posted September 20, 2012 I'm 5 months post op and have only lost 40 lbs. I follow my diet exactly as my doctor has planned, I exercise 1+ hours a day by walking and jogging and I am at a stand-still right now. I thought it would be way more that 40 lbs by now !!! jennamommy 80 Posted September 20, 2012 I am 7 weeks out my dr said to expect about 15 pounds a month. I have only lost 6 pounds this month and have been at a stahl for almost 2 weeks. It happens does not mean that you aren't losing inches ect... Just keep up the good work. And REMEBER this is not a mirical worker it is a tool to help us. Good luck! DLCoggin 1,788 Posted September 20, 2012 I'm thinking your exceptional pre-op weight loss (GREAT job!!) followed by the surgery is a LOT of changes for your body. It just needs a little time to catch up with the new program. We all know how tough it is but be patient. Give your body a chance to find its own way in its own time. It absolutely will. Just keep doing exactly what you're doing and your metabolism will adjust to the "new program" and the weight will start falling off before you know it. I think in our desire to Celebrate our success we often underestimate how profound the physiological changes that are taking place really are. You're gonna love the new you!! 4 Cheryl Barfoot, Vicki Loichinger, Debbe and 1 other reacted to this

TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted September 22, 2012 I was feeling like that then realized that we are all different. I'm almost 4 months & only lost 60 pounds. I'm stuck now! Need 24lbs to go & the scale isn't moving but I'm not giving up. 1 Cheryl Barfoot reacted to this
