Bert_n_ernie 60 Posted September 17, 2012 Ok, I'm in the process of passing a kidney stone. Any recommendations or advice on how I can avoid them in the future. This is the 2nd one I've passed in my life. The first one was a week after I gave birth to my twins so it was no surprise when I learned I had one. This one though, I have no clue what caused it. I've never been diabetic or had other kidney problems. I'm staying well hydrated. New Life Started 07/24/

I eat a lot of cheese and use to drink 2 cups of skim milk per day, also I ate lots of yogurt. Bert_n_ernie 60 Posted September 26, 2012 They were Calcium related. Both times I've passed them I have been on a calcium supplement. I also eat a lot of cheese & yogurt. I had to back off on the calcium. New Life Started 07/24/
