16 days out from surgery, and I tryed a chicken nugget, it came back up. I felt better so I ate a baked potato, went down well. but I have cutting pain in my stomach, only when I get up and move around, it's now day 2. what have I done, is it normal?

I had surgery on 8/27 so we are about the same

I'm on purée

I tried chicken and could not eat it too hard

Try ground turkey it's soft and I've had no problems with it

Your stomach is hurting because you ate too fast or too much

I had the same thing but mine only lasted a couple of hours

I eat turkey chili no Beans

Egg salad or scrabbled with mild salsa to make it loose

I made this cheese dip (ground turkey, ro-tel, velveta cheese in crock pot) no seasoning

It will last for a long time

I blended some fresh string Beans my mother made, mixed it with the dip yummy

I don't eat potatoes too much carb

Whatever you eat just make it soft add broth or Soup

Geneva,

Try blending your chicken with broth. It purees chicken and makes it easy to eat. Good Protein too.
