Ate nights just don't work for me anymore! I'm 4.5wks post op and the day/night I decide to push myself to do a little more I end up exhausted the following day and watch movies..which I kinda love..I love my alone time at home but I grieve my old lifestyle. Going out with friends all the time, late nights, early mornings...sigh' ;)

And why don't you go out? Today am almost 4 week out, and I went to a BBQ at my chair's. I had my pureed lunch b4 going, and sipped Water all mt time there. I felt good, and many friends talked to me about my weight loss. It was quite good time.

next week am going to a brown bag lunch with friends in a park.

you can always find something fun to do with your friends. Think positively

I was never a late night person but I thought I would never get my energy back as a morning person & with no green light on coffee it was hard.... But it all comes back.

It's only a short grieving:)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
