Camurray30 0 Posted February 26, 2007 Good luck to you as I'm in the same boat. United Healthcare held my file for 30+ days and told me 5 days before my surgery that I was not approved for not having 5 years of 40+ BMI. I only had 3. This was back in early December. So now I've spent the past months with a strong conviction to be diagnosed with every co-mobidity there is. So far, I have been diagnosed with a sleep apnea. I had my ruptured / herniated front disc formally diagnosed (with a limited work prescription). also now have pantov focia (EXTREME foot pain), have Migraines and going to get my acid reflux disease formally diagnosed next week! If they deny me at this point - I'm really going to be figtin'! The key is co-mobidities!!
