Tank 112 Posted September 13, 2012 You should check out allrecipies.com. They have lots of great recipies that you can search for by ingrident. Theres even an app with a slot machine that puts meals together for you. You can search for me on there. My user name is Chef_Dad. I have lots of recipies on there that are Bariatric-friendly. The best part is that there are pictures and nutrition facts for every recipe! 2 Molly1978 and Tizzielish reacted to this
Panda 354 Posted September 13, 2012 What are the diet guidelines for the sleeve? I'm not familiar with that wls...does that also include the bypass part of the surgery? Or is it just removal of part of the stomach? Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk

Or is it just removal of part of the stomach? Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk In the sleeve, they just remove part of the stomach completely. They do not experience some of the same things like with RNY, such as not having dumping syndrome and their stomachs hold slightly more than RNY pouches. No supplements? Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
Jordan Bee 13 Posted September 13, 2012 No, nit as much anyway. Sleeve pts should still take supplements but they aren't as crucial as they are for bypass pts. Sleeve works more restrictive whereas bypass is restrictive and malabsorptive.
