bekki03 51 Posted September 12, 2012 I haven't been near anything that has been extreme in the spicy catagory...but I have been having medium salsa and peppered pork. I have been fine so far. 1 Big Lou reacted to this

No problems here. I think it depends on the person, though. I can tolerate pork better than some ppl 1 Big Lou reacted to this

Tank 112 Posted September 12, 2012 For me the spicer the better!! I've only pissed off the pouch once because of something being too spicy. 2 Bert_n_ernie and Big Lou reacted to this
berniec 166 Posted September 12, 2012 The spicier the better. Before I had the surgery when I ate spicy food a lot of the time I would get heartburn. I haven't had heartburn since I've had surgery. My doctor took me off of my gerd meds. He said I probably wouldn't need them. Of course I didn't believe him. I haven't taken anything since the day of surgery. DLCoggin 1,788 Posted September 12, 2012 I haven't had any problems with spicy but I don't recall exactly how far out I was when I started eating spicy. I'd recommend checking with your doctor. Starting too soon before the healing process is complete or at least well on it's way could be an invitation for an ulcer. I'd love to hear the answer if you run it by your surgeon. 2 Big Lou and babygirl901 reacted to this
