jadeharper 51 Posted September 8, 2012 I'm 3.5wks post up and I'n pretty sure every anxiety I've ever had has creeped it's way into my path again. I'm missing exboyfriends from years ago and feeling sad about falling down the stairs when I was 3! All I can do is sit here and let emotions come through...if I try to stop it I just get aggravated and irritable. I have a therapist I seen bi-wkly so I'm never to far off some outside help but man when it rains, it pours.
berniec 166 Posted September 8, 2012 I was very emotional after surgery too. I guess it's our hormones. I don't know. It passes eventually. It could be the meds they gave us. I really don't have an answer but I was a wreck too. 1 jadeharper reacted to this
JustJenn 542 Posted September 8, 2012 I'm 6.5 weeks post and still very emotional, but I'm not naturally an emotional person and its making me very irritable. I talked to Dr and it is all of the hormone changes. I just want to feel normal and not crying or depressed moods ....its so not like me! LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted September 8, 2012 Also when you're losing weight, there are hormones stored within that fat you're losing. Those hormones start moving around and run through your system as it leaves your body. I know at around 3 weeks I was feeling weepy but, started moving more and walking harder and faster with music in my ears. It sure helped 1 berniec reacted to this

I walk 5km every day, if I push myself to do anymore I get way too exhausted but I do look forward to my exercising. 1 Cheryl Barfoot reacted to this

amanda 6 Posted September 9, 2012 Sorry you're feeling so down. I was miserable right after surgery and cried like a baby for days.

purpleamy 7 Posted September 10, 2012 Seratonin levels fall after weight loss because of lack of food. It gets better as your body adjusts. 1 berniec reacted to this
