Panda 354 Posted September 7, 2012 My was low until month 4 when I added complex carbs. You know like bread, Pasta and rice. I was often light-headed and dizzy before I added two small servings a day per nutritionist orders Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
PaulB 346 Posted September 7, 2012 Mary are you taken any BP Med's if so you need to contact your doctor ASAP. I had the same problem my blood pressure started getting real low the doctors took me off it and 3 days later no more light headedness blood pressure is running 118/67. That and they want me to increase my calorie intake and up my Protein to 80-100 g a day ( ez for the docs to say). But don't listen to us call your doctor to be on the safe side. Actually I was on HTZ (diuretic) before surgery and was discharged they told me not to take it anymore so I would not be dehydrated. Hey Paul I wanted to ask about that stitch you had said was sticking out did the Dr say anything? I have two of them, that I noticed now that my dermond fell off! Hope it absorbs itself! That is great about the ring, but I would definetly wait a bit to see where you will end up in terms of maintenance. They may sell these rubber things that you can use meanwhile.
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted September 7, 2012 Mine has been low since the day I had the surgery and right up to today. No dizziness or any other problematic symptoms - just low. Neither my primary or my surgeon seem to be concerned and speaking as a guy that had hypertension and the associated risks for a lot of years, I'm pretty OK with low! 1 my3stars reacted to this

SilviaC 20 Posted September 7, 2012 My blood pressure ran from 95/55 to 115/75 in the hospital. Now it is running anywhere from 110/70 to 120/75. If you dont feel well I would also recommend calling your doctor. I was on meds prior to surgery and once I left the hospitalI was told not to take my meds anymore. At least that makes one less medication for me post-op! surgery date: 7/30/12 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
PaulB 346 Posted September 7, 2012 Everyone is differen and I'm no doctor My3stars they want to remove the stich they just can't get hold of it there is not much sticking out. And the doctor is worried about it not healing and getting infected. And my ring are slipping off to when I hit my target weight I will have them resized. Right now I have clear tape ripped around it to hold it on Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 1 my3stars reacted to this
