TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted September 4, 2012 Everything is moderation. I can't eat 2 giant plates like before or even half, but I can have 1/2 cup of something. I just stay away from fried food or have it occasionally but it makes me vomit if I eat it sometimes. Depends. Everyone should enjoy them self. Unfortunely this surgery turn my whole stomach into not liking certain food or smells.
HamDan 61 Posted September 4, 2012 Babygirl- How was the moscato? Did it give you any dumping effects? I am 4 months out and was able to handle the spare ribs but they were really tender! I cant drink soda yet but I sometime will sip a swallow of beer for the belch. Its amazing how we can all tolerate dofferent things! Enjoy! Wps2 57 Posted September 4, 2012 I am seven months out' date=' and there's NO way I'm eating any of that, Holiday or no holiday. Just saying.[/quote'] This was kind of a mean remark... Ending that reply with "just saying" doesn't justify it's intent. We are all here to support one another... NOT attempt to give someone a guilt trip. Just saying. You never even bothered to ask what the ingredients were before passing judgment. All of the actual meats are part of the diet. At least ask how it was prepared, low carb, low fat, low sugar sauces for example. People do that all the time. The drinks were diet... My doc said diet soda was fine just make it flat and not often. Why not ask all these things before jumping to conclusions. Let's just support one another. Cause we ALL have been through a lot... 8 Cheryl Barfoot, jldeville, my3stars and 5 others reacted to this

Oh boy but bring on the steak yummy!

I just needed to taste something besides Water and the stuff I normally drink. I'll be back on my routine tomorrow. 1 Maggie0557 reacted to this

babygirl901 173 Posted September 4, 2012 Have you try crystal light iced tea? I'm sooo hooked!! I can drink 1 quart in 24 hours. Not that I can remember. I like lipton's diet green tea. Also minute maid has several products that are 15cals/8oz serving. They are awesome. There is also a diet half lemonade/half green tea by arnold palmer that's good. kiwiladydee 402 Posted September 4, 2012 If you don't dump or get sick from it, how do u stop yourself from falling back into the habit of wanting it all the time? Good point of making new healthy alternative - low sugar , less carbs etc!! I love this group. . If your body can take it, great! Mines can't. Just clarifying 2 my3stars and berniec reacted to this
JustJenn 542 Posted September 4, 2012 Weekend indulgent... It's so hot outside omg... We took our 2 year to a farm and enjoyed the day minus the sun burn! After my hubby and daughter enjoyed their ice cream I went to a shaved ice place near home they blend natural fruit nothing extra (sugars) I had a kid size and got banana & strawberry.... Heaven! Haven't had one since before surgery. Ice & fruit! Went down cold and completely satisfying! But next weekend its a better holiday for me! It's my birthday! No cake but Im planning on making myself that watermelon "cake" I've seen posted here Surgery 7/25/12 1 my3stars reacted to this

Lol. Plus my friends and family are very supportive. For example, my team at work usually has dinners on Fridays. They always make sure they have something I can eat. Some days are harder than others, but I keep my goal of no dumping in my mind.
