Just a quick note from Libbi (my lab) and I to thank you for your kindness. Libbi wanted to send her own message but we've found that paws don't work very well on a laptop. Her typing speed's not bad but her spelling is atrocious!

When you get right down to it, a "forum" is nothing more than software and an Internet address. It's the members, all of the members, that make it either a waste of time or something quite special. Individually, any one of us is just a single voice. Together, we are an invaluable resource for all who are on this life changing journey. I thank all of you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences and suggestions and support. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it! Stay focused, stay active and stay away from the scales!!

DL nice to be able to put a face to the words. Love the lab they are great dogs. All dogs are great all they want is love and they will be your best friend.

This Fourm has been the best tool I could have ever come across. There is no way I could put in to words what everyone here has done for me. And I with continue to spread the word of the good work being done here.

The only words of wisdom I could tell anyone ,download this Fourm and myfitnesspal 2 of the best tools you could ever want or need for your Jouney and join a gym get off your butt and move.

These are both my military dependent id cards...the one on the left was last June, and the one on the right I just got! What a huge difference 140 pounds make! Now I don't get military police asking me if I'm certain that the id picture is really me!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
