TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted September 1, 2012 Be been craving something junkie but the worst I've done is a Popsicle...anyone try to eat pizza pop filling with a month after operation? I had papa John pizza. 1 slice went down really good. I decided I will no longer eat pizza of any kind. Frozen or restaurant. Why? I don't want to go back to old habits. 2 Cheryl Barfoot and Yolyann reacted to this
punk.rock.mama 101 Posted September 1, 2012 Be been craving something junkie but the worst I've done is a Popsicle...anyone try to eat pizza pop filling with a month after operation? If you are talking frozen pizza pop I would avoid that like the plague! It just seems SI full of fat/freeze/sodium/doughy badness it xouldn't possibly be good for you (aka may very well dump...violently) I have been craving pizza like a junkie so I got some lean ham, pineapple, tomatoes and reduced fat mozzarella for a tortilla wrap, gonna roll it up and grill it panini style for what I like to call a "pizza pipe" cut that bad boy in half and enjoy for lunch and again dinner! I'm all about changing things up and I will most likely never give up everything, best thing about trying new things since this surgery is in moderation and very slow and small portions. I haven't dumped at all and I've had had plenty of changes in food, I'm sure to get my Protein and nutrition in first tho so after all that theres not much room for much else anyways, lol 1 punk.rock.mama reacted to this

LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted September 2, 2012 Depending on what stage of eating you're on you can make your own low carb low fat pizza out of a low carb wrap. I placed a low carb wrap (5 net carbs on the one I use and it's about 8'' round) on the oven rack at 350 and let it toast up crispy. I take it out, place it on a foil lined cookie sheet (saves clean-up) and I put a little pizza sauce and some 2% low fat shredded cheese. Then add whatever veggies sit will in your pouch and/or meats such as shredded chicken or turkey pepperoni etc. Depending on what you choose you can get your Protein count up. The wrap really crisps up nicely and you taste mostly the toppings. Great substitute 1 punk.rock.mama reacted to this

jadeharper 51 Posted September 3, 2012 This is too funny! I had no idea pizza pops were only in Canada. It's like a big perogy but filled with chopped up veggies, meats and cheese. It's a deep fried delicious mess so I thought I could potentially get away with the insides...lol 1 punk.rock.mama reacted to this
